Reese Sterling

"This scholarship truly supported my transition into college and reminded me that I had a community believing in my goals. I’ve just finished my first year at Howard University, where I’m studying Film & Television Production and staying active on campus through student advocacy, leadership, and creative media projects that strengthen the student experience. I’ve also become involved with the NAACP, working on advocacy and community‑focused initiatives, and I recently joined a step team, which has helped me build new connections and pride on campus. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned this year is the power of using your voice and creativity to make real impact — and support from organizations like Justice League Cycling helped me step into those opportunities with confidence. I’m grateful to still be part of the Justice League Cycling family."

"Receiving the Justice League Cycling scholarship made my transition from high school to college so much smoother — financially and mentally. It reminded me that people truly believed in my goals and were invested in my future. I’m now a student‑athlete at Mount St. Mary’s University (Class of 2029), competing on the Division I women’s water polo team while majoring in Philosophy on a pre‑law track. I plan to attend law school after graduation. Since starting college, I’ve stepped into leadership as Freshman Class Vice President, interned with the university’s marketing department, and even host a show on the campus radio station — all while continuing to grow academically, athletically, and professionally toward a future career in law."

Sydney Parks

As a Justice League Cycling Scholarship recipient, I am proud to represent Prairie View A&M University while pursuing a double major in Architecture and Construction Science—putting me on track to graduate with three degrees. The scholarship has helped ease the financial load for my family and me, allowing me to focus fully on my academic journey. I have earned Honors List recognition, serve as a PVAMU Mentor, and contribute to the PV Sports Media Team. I strive to embody the spirit of Prairie View Produces Productive People, and I am grateful for the support as I continue building my future one blueprint at a time.
